NOTES/EXCEPTIONS:

This policy will govern the use of Artificial Intelligence on County Information Resources to accomplish the following: 

  1. Ensure County data is protected from unauthorized access, use, or exposure.
  2. Reduce reputational risk by providing a framework for the responsible, ethical and transparent use of AI within County processes.
  3. Maximize the benefits of AI while minimizing the risk to internal County business.
  4. Protect employee and resident data.

 

The policy has been reviewed by the Internal Stakeholders Review Group as required by the Policy for Adoption of New and Revised County Policies.
