REQUIREMENTS:

Due to reduced funding from the State of Texas for Specialty Courts, the County agrees to supplement the County Recovery Court budget to fund Community Supervision Officers (CSO) and a Senior Substance Abuse Counselor.  The additional funding is supported by benefits of continuing the County Recovery Court which, include but are not limited, enhanced public safety, reduced recidivism rates, reduced incarcerations, and increased productivity of County Recovery Court participants.

 

The CSCD will provide two supervision officers and one counselor to the County Recovery Court.  The staff will be assigned to this program shall be approved by the presiding judge of the County Recovery Court.
